City Hall
It makes perfect sense that City Hall, one of Stockholm’s most iconic crowning spires, is adorned with three golden crowns itself. In a city well-known for its romantic architecture, the grand tower, alluring arches, and shining gold apex of City Hall sets it apart as perhaps the most romantic. So naturally it comes as no surprise that many Kolla artists feel drawn to capture the many facets of City Hall, and from each and every angle, they all do it beautifully.
Pursuing photography as an art form takes resiliency, hope, and the confidence to stand tall among peers and critics alike. We think City Hall quite poetically mirrors this philosophy. Just as photographers symbolize fortitude within the arts community, so City Hall reflects the same trait throughout Stockholm. A city filled with strength, hope, and great beauty - just like the artists who walk its streets each day. We are proud to lay claim to such a stunning piece of artful architecture, and we are proud to lay claim to such incredible photographic artists as well.
If you have taken any time to browse our collection of fine photography art, you have likely seen images of this great City Hall. We have put together a collection in honor of this emblematic spire, as seen through many unique sets of eyes.

Summer Sunset and Happy Girls
Photographer: Mack Bitew
The photographer Mack Bitew summerizes Riddarholmen as "a place of love and friendship during summer" which sounds like an accurate description based on this wonderfully captured moment. You can feel the athmosphere in the photograph and it brings us right back to those warm summer nights in Stockholm.
