Change Up Your Everyday Scenery
Posted on 22/04/2020

Have you been stuck at home and find yourself getting tired of looking at the same view every day? Miss browsing your favorite shops on a lazy afternoon, coffee in hand and no place to be? With advised social distancing in place, window-shopping may be out of reach (for now), but we think you’ll find that couch-shopping can be just as much fun (bonus: there’s no need to change out of your pajamas).

Cozy up to shop our latest collection of new arrivals, and change up your everyday scenery without ever having to leave your home.

And as if you needed even more of an incentive, from now until Sunday, we are offering a free frame with your purchase.

Standing Tall

From the photographer: The massive concrete pillars of the bridge on calm waters of Tranebergssund with the winding road in the foreground form an interesting and photogenic symmetry.

Pink Walls

The photographer says she "loves that pink facade and morning sunlight that gives gorgeous shadows" and we agree. The symmetry adds to the art piece and creates a wonderful scene at Riddarholmen.

Timeless Stockholm

From the photographer: This shot was taken in one of my favourite streets 'Tyska Brinken' which offers some really nice compositions from both west and easterly views and many different view points up and down the slopping, cobbled street. This is my favourite vantage point along the street focusing on the iconic, fairytale like Mariaberget building in the distance which sits in Södermalm. I like how the eyes are drawn up the narrow streets, back up to the brow of the hill in the foreground. The monotone vibe adding the timeless feeling to match the title.

Symmetrical Distribution

The photographers describes this as "a perfect moment to capture beautiful Stockholm". The dramatic lighting adds to this outstanding view and creates an extraordinary photograph.

Misty Curve

From the photographer: In this photo, I try to blur the line between photography and graphic simplicity. The strongly graphic black-and-white top delicately fades into something recognizable as a daily commute. I'm sure the weather gods rooted for me this time.

Sofia

From the photographer: This picture was taken a warm evening in august from the top of Hammarbybacken, overlooking Stockholm and the Sofia church on Södermalm in its foreground.
